Places Available

15 hour funded 3 & 4 year old places

Children aged 3 and 4 are eligible for 15-hour funded nursery places. These are referred to as ‘part time places’ and are offered as 2 full days and 1 half day at either end of the week. For the timings of these sessions please see the application form on the admissions page. On their full days’ children will have lunch, a fee for school meals is payable in advance.

15 hour funded places for 2 year olds

Some children aged 2 will be eligible for 15 government funded nursery hours per week. For two years olds we offer these places as 5 half days per week 8:30-11:30 or 12:30 to 3:30pm.

30 hour funded places for 3 & 4 year olds

Some children are able to access 30-hour funded places, these are usually children where their parents are in full time work. Please check here to see if you are eligible. At Vanessa Nursery we offer these hours Monday to Friday between 9am and 3:15pm

‘Top up’ for core day places

Parents are able to ‘Top-up’ their part time places to full time places during core hours by paying a fee. Please see our admissions page to download an application form and read our admissions policy.
